Plantago lagopus Hare's-foot Plantain
In size and initial appearance, this plantain isn't unlike the very common plant found in the British Isles: Plantago laceolata (Ribwort Plantain). P. lagopus has much wider leaves and larger, softer (like a Hare's foot?) flower heads.
P. lagopus is found throughout the Mediterranean region.
