Senna pleurocarpa Fire Bush
The is a member of a large genus in the Fabaceae family and is also known as Stripe-pod Senna. There are several subspecies two of which occur in Western Australia and can be differentiated with difficulty by counting the leaves on the leaflets.
Senna pleurocarpa is known from coastal areas near Shark Bay but mostly from inland areas through the wheat belt towards Esperance and dotted in central and north western Australia as well as from Queensland and other parts of Australia.
