Not too long ago the systematic name for this plant was Scabiosa graminifolia and
since it looks just like a Scabious it would have been good if taxonomy had allowed that name to stand.
But Lomelosia graminifolia it is now - until suvch time as the taxonomists decide Scabiosa was
right all along. It is native to Albania, France, Greece, Italy, Morocco, Spain, Switzerland, and the
Balkan countries.
