Lithospermum officinale Common Gromwell
These tall plants with characteristic small yellow flowers were very like the ones we see in the British Isles which is not always the case for plants in European habitats. Lithospermum arvense also grows here but is smaller and bristlier with bluish or whitish flowers.
Lithospermum officinale is found in the hilly regions of Europe up to a height of 5,000 feet
