Vicia cassia Cyprus Vetch
Initially I confused this very pretty plant with the deeper coloured Vicia onobrychioides (Sainfoin Vetch) but distribution maps revealed that V. onobrychioides doesn't occur this far east in the northern Mediterranean countries. It is found not far away in Turkey and apart from that the only other sites are a long way west in north Africa. In spite of this limited distribution it is not considered to be a threatened plant.
It's two tone flowers and very narrow leaflets are typical.
