Urtica membranacea Membranous Nettle
This was on some waste ground near our Hotel in Mgarr on Gozo. It has two stipules at each node rather than the four of Urtica atrovirens with which it might be confused. Urtica membranacea is a common plant throughout the Mediterranean region.
