Tropaeolum majus Nasturtium
On a very hot day we passed a quarry where this plant was scrambling over rocks. It is an introduction here in Mediterranean countries as well as in the UK - originally from darkest Peru. The yellow flower above the red Nasturtium is Oxalis pes-caprae (Bermuda-buttercup) which is the commonest roadside weed in these parts
