Trymalium odoratissimum Endemic
Trymalium odoratissimum peviously known as Trymalium floribundum is a medium sized shrub which will grow both in forested areas and in the sandy heathland known as Kwongan. A member of the Rhamnaceae family, the Trymalium is endemic to Australia with about eight species described in the genus. The Trymalium genus name arises because of the three slits on the fruit which look like the eye of a needle.
