Trifolium scabrum Rough Clover R DD N
This is quite a small hairy clover with a short flowering period. You sometimes have to look hard to find this plant amongst other clovers and it is easily hidden in the grass. Uncommon in Scotland, Ireland, the English and Welsh distribution is decidedly coastal apart from clumps of sites in the Brecks where this one was found.
