These clover flowers can have pure white heads or have the pink underside as in the ones above. It is a very common clover occurring in Portugal, dotted about in Spain, Corsica, Sardinia, Maltese islands, Sicily, Greece, Crete and Israel. It has a coastal distribution tendency. Trifolium nigrescens has been recorded once or twice in Britain. Other common names include Small White Clover and Dutch Clover.
