Stachys lavandulifolia Wood Betony
Stachys species have been used for centuries in herbal medicine hence in English "Woundwort" as a common name for many plants in this genus. It has been proved to have anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and it has been shwon to be effective in controlling unusual uterine bleeding.
Stachys lavandulifolia is found in Turkey, Iran, Armenia, Georgia and southern Russia plus other nearby countries.+
