Rhododendron caucasicum
Although confined to the narrow mountainous area between the Black Sea and the Caspian sea, this species has become one of the favourites for horticulturalists. Then species itself is grown in gardens as are many cultivars. It is sometimes know as "Georgian Snow Rose" and can be whitish like this one or pinker in colour.
