Ranunculus trichophyllus Thread-leaved Water-crowfoot C DD N
This is usually a Crowfoot which stays in water but the pond in which it had been living began to dry up in the hot summer. The leaves as the name suggests are all thin and thread like and usually submerged.
Ranunculus trichophyllus is found throughout England and Ireland but uncommon in the central hills of Wales. It is commonest in the east in Scotland but is found on the Hebridean Islands, Orkney and Shetland.
