Potentilla lignosa
The Karabet pass slopes were tricky to negotiate with loose gravel and snow to cope with but this was even harder. The plants were attached to a high rocky cliff at the top of a steep crumbling slope and even with two sticks it was hard work getting up there and even harder coming down.
It was worth it though, this isn't a common species found mostly in Iran and Eastern Turkey
