Potentilla argentea   Hoary Cinquefoil R DD N

Potentilla argentea

The underside of the leaves and the stems are quite tomentose which is no doubt what gives this plant its name. It's distribution is heavily concentrated in the east. It is common in east Anglia and in the area around London but dotted about elsewhere with very little to be found in Wales, Scotland or Ireland
