Petrophile seminuda Endemic
The rather strange specific name (seminuda) of this shrub refers to the half-bare bracts (don't ask). As can be seen from the photo, this shrub was covered in blooms and the typical pointed needle like leaves forked once or twice. It is a fairly common species which will grow in a variety of habitats and is recorded from Geraldton to the Fitzgerald River National Park and significantly inland across the wheatbelt too, but not in the far south west corner around Margaret River.
