Persoonia saundersiana Endemic
The Persoonia genus is named after Christian Hendrik Persoon a Dutch mycologist who helped Linnaeus with mushroom taxonomy. Although not regarded as endangered, P. saundersiana is concentrated mostly in a smallish area well inland in the wheat belt and extending as far east as Kalgoorlie. It grows in poor sometimes arid soils in association with with Allocasuarina campestris (a She-oak) and various Acacia ssp.
