Matthiola sinuata Sea Stock RR DD N
This is definitely a native known from quite a few Southern locations in Wales and England but like M. incana is at the Northern edge of its range. Not too surprising to find it easily in the Channel islands but a large plant was right next to the car park at Oxwich bay.
In the British Isles M sinuata is found in the Channel Islands dotted along the Cornish coast but the greatest concentration of records is from south Wales. There are a few records from the rest of England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland but most of them date back to the 1960s or earlier.
