Lygeum spartum Albardine
Also known simply false Asparto Grass, or simply Lygeum, this plant is sold by garden centres and nurseries as a decorative grass for the border. spartum grows throughout the Mediterranean and in north Africa, mostly on basic soils and up to 3,000 feet in the hills.
