This plant is quite common near the coasts of many Mediterranean countries and looks at first like a slightly smaller and greyer version of Bird's-foot-trefoil because of the grey hairy calyx. At this site it grew en masse with thousands of blooms. In the large habitat photo the pink flower is Silene colorata
