Lilium monadelphum Caucasian Lily
This was one of the spectacular plants of the Russian Caucasus. Some descriptions, advertising it as a garden plant, claim that it grows no taller than 80 cm to 90 cm but we found examples which were 100 cm to 120 cm in height. It is scented with distinctive red dots and dashes on the reflexed petals.
It can be found in eastern Turkey but its main home is the Caucasus mountains.
