Geranium molle Dove's-foot Crane's-bill CC DD N
This is the commonest of the Crane's-bills here on the sandy soil of mid-Cheshire. It grows in verges on housing estates, in hedgerows and in waste places. It is also quite variable, being small enough to be missed by the Council mowers but straggling to 50 cm or more in protected situations.
G. molle doesn't like to grow in the mountainous areas of central and northern Scotland but is very common elsewhere in the British Isles.
