Geranium phaeum

Introduced from central Europe many years ago this is a rather rather good looking occasional plant of the wayside. There isn't any particular place to look for this it will grow anywhere on a bank or a verge as it mostly occurs as a garden escape.

It is found through out England, Wales and Northern Ireland but there is little to be found in the Republic of Ireland and the highlands of Scotland.
