Gagea graeca
This is a quite small member of the Lily family which grows most commonly towards the eastern end of the Mediterranean and in near eastern countries like Turkey. At one time all Gagea species were part of Ornithogalum which is why the English name for some of these contains "Star-of-Bethlehem" = Ornithogalum umbellatum. In some texts they are Lloydia species and this one was Lloydia graeca.
