Fritillaria minuta
From the name you might think that Fritillaria minuta was the smaller of this and Fritillaria minima but it can be as tall as 10 cm which is still fairly tiny when you are searching among the rocks and snow. The brownish colour also makes it difficult to see but with a group of eight or so people we found quite a few of these plants in full flower. This is another special plant for keen alpine gardeners.
Fritillaria minima is found in Eastern Turkey and Iran.
