Dactylorhiza majalis ssp alpestris Broad-leaved Marsh Orchid
Although clearly a Dactylorhiza species, this orchid has such similar markings and shape of labellum to plants like D. purpurella (Northern Marsh Orchid) that an expert was needed to identify it. The leaves are not particularly broad but were spotted on all the species we saw and it grew at very high altitudes in good numbers.
