Chenopodium murale

Even the agricultural weeds are classy ones in the Channel Islands. We found this along with Chenopodium ficifolium (Fig-leaved Goosefoot) and Thlaspi arvensis (Field Penny-cress) in a field of crops. Such a wealth of Goosefoots.

C. murale is mostly found in southern England and the Channel Islands are a stronghold. there is only a little in Wales, some in southern Scotland and it is scarce in Ireland.
