Callitris roei Roe's Cypress Pine
The cones on this small pine which grows to a maximum of 5m in height, are not at all cone shaped but attract attention because they look like small footballs. The wood of this pine is aromatic and easy to work but most importantly resists decay and so can be used outdoors as well as for furniture.
