Named after the botanist Pierre Richer de Belleval, this member of the Hyacinth family reminds you of Muscari species. It is taller however and the overall impression is of a flower with dead bell-shaped petals. The petals are actually blue at first but rapidly turn brown. This was a good find as an arable weed growing near Tulipa sylvestris.
