I had been wanting to see this plant for some time but never quite known where to look in Teesdale. On the Wild Flower Society Teesdale trip we were taken to a site where it was at its peak. There were several plants all in good condition and considering that there were about a dozen of us stamping around I'm pleased to say we didn't trample any of them.

There are two main sites for this plant one in northern England (Teesdale and northern fells) and mid Scotland. It does not occur in Ireland or Wales.
