There are four species of Barbarea all of which grow somewhere near the Frodsham site and all have been recorded at sometime in Cheshire. Try as I might though I couldn't make the Winter-cress plants from either site into anything but the common one, the upper leaves and lower leaves fitting the descriptions in various flora.

Barbarea vulgaris is a common plant throughout the British Isles and Ireland but records decrease near the north coast of Scotland.
