Banksia praemorsa Cut-leaf Banksia Endemic
The unusual feature of this large shrub or small tree that the leaves were so much shorter than so many Banksia species. In addition the shrub itself was densly leafy with quite tall flowers normally appearing from July to October. It is found in a very small area near Albany and the Stirling range and nowhere else but is not believed to be in danger of extinction.
