Banksia nobilis Golden Dryandra Endemic
This is a plant of the eucalypt woodland and unlike some of the other shrubs this can be a giant up to 4 metres tall and extremely wide. The golden blooms are large of many can be seen buried in the typical pinnfitid foliage of the species.
This plant was known as Dryandra nobilis and the common name still tells us that it was once a member of that genus but it has now been subsumed into Banksia.
