Aphyllanthes monspeliensis Blue Aphyllanthes
Looking like a tuft of glaucous rush, this plant could easily be confused with some kind of Juncus species. It wasn't in full flower but the one or two blue flowers amongst the thread like leaves hinted it was a member of the Asparagaceae family.
Aphyllanthes monspeliensis is found in the Pyrenees and central Spanish hills at heights of up to 4.500 feet.
