Acacia retinoides Water Wattle
There are many Acacia species to be seen in Mediterranean countries but a large number of them are naturalised specimens from Australia, Tasmania or China. This one was by a road side not far from habitation so may well have been planted but as with all mature trees and shrubs it's hard to tell.
