Zosterops lateralis Silvereye
Also known as wax-eye or white-eye this very small, Passerine bird is native to Australia, New Zealand and a few islands nearby. It is an omnivorous bird normally associated with scrub but very much at home in urban or country gardens too. In this garden it was often seen rummaging at the foot of a lemon tree.
