Verticordia chrysantha Endemic
As is the case with many shrubs in this genus, each of the plants we saw on this Wild Flower Society tour of the Wheat Belt was covered in flowers each with the delicate feathery edges which give the Verticordia genus their English name: Feather Flowers. Verticordia chrysantha is quite common in the south western Australian wheat belt, that is inland fron the coastal belt.
