Thryptomene strongylophylla Endemic

Thryptomene strongylophylla whole Thryptomene strongylophylla close

In this general area around Geraldton there are quite a few species of Thryptomene to be found and they have small or very small opposite, evergreen leaves with pinkish or white flowers. Very hard to tell apart. However this one is very common in the region of Kalbarri National Park and it does resemble the few photos and descriptions which I could find of this species. No doubt someone will email me to say I've got it wrong.

Thryptomene strongylophylla is found around the Geraldton area but not as far south as Perth, or as far north as Shark Bay.
