Thalictrum aquilegiifolium French Meadow-rue
This tall, spectacular plant has as its name suggests, leaves which look very much those of a Columbine (Aquilegia sp.) but the large fluffy flowers are very Thalictrum like. It is very common throughout Europe and extending into Scandinavia but also in eastern Russia and Japan. The flowers can also be white.
