Teucrium chamaedrys Wall Germander
As shown here the attractive flowers of this dwarf evergreen shrub can be pale to deep pink almost purple which makes this an ideal plant for gardeners. Nurserymen have created various cultivars and hybrids but most are still this range of colours. It has a wide distribution in western Europe and is even known from a few sites in Britain although listed as rare (RR) in New Flora of the British Isles.
