Syringa vulgaris Lilac I
This well known garden shrub does not, according to Stace seed itself very often which means that the odd plant you see in the wild must come as a throw-out or something like that. If Stace is right then either there are some very hard working fly tippers around or some other mechanism of reproduction and distribution is happening because this plant is very widespread in England, Wales and even eastern Scotland and eastern Ireland.
