Synaphea spinulosa Endemic

Synaphea spinulosa Synaphea spinulosa

Synaphea is a genus of plants endemic to Western Australia in the Proteaceae family and there are at least 56 named species plus a large number of plants known to be different but not yet given scientific names. Just to make things even more complicated these plants look very similar to one another but luckily for me the one growing at the reserve which is a a managed bit of relict bush very close to Perth, a list of plants has been produced of which Synaphea spinulosa (probably ssp spinulosa) is the only one at this site.
