Sitta europaea Nuthatch
Sitta europaea is known as the Eurasian Nuthatch, a Passerine member of the Sittidae family. It is found, as its name suggests across Europe an Asia. The sharp pointed beak indicates a normally insectivorous bird but in the winter it will eat seeds or nuts and is a common visitor to our feeders in the garden.
