Serratula pinnafitida
Serratula pinnafitida (a European Saw-wort with pinnate leaves) has been the subject of many taxonomic studies and even now it is not clear whether Serratula is the correct genus name or Klasea. Other synonyms include Carduus pinnafitidus, Centaurea barrelieri, Cirsium pinnafitidum, Cnicus pinnafitidus, Serratula barrelieri as well as the two most commonly used today Klasea pinnafitida and Serratula pinnafitida. Take your pick.
It is a plant which prefers dry, stony habitats and is found mostly in Spai9n and Portugal but hardly anywhere else.
