Sedum annuum Annual Stonecrop
An inconspicuous low growing annual, this little Stonecrop sometimes has red tinges in leaves and flowers. It is actually an arctic alpine with its most significant populations growing in Scandinavia, Finland and even Greenland with a few in the north eastern United States. In Europe there are outposts in Spain and elsewhere but it is found in good numbers in the Alps and the Pyrenees where this one was photographed.
