Scilla bifolia Alpine Squill I
This European introduction is a garden plant which will readily spread from its place of original planting. The leaf (there are usually two) forms a sheath round the stem and it has no flower bracts which distinguishes it from other Scillas.
It is dotted around in southern England but there is little in Wales and Scotland and none recorded from Ireland.
