Ribes alpinum Mountain Currant RR DDD N
This is always a tricky find as the good site for this shrub is well down the River Wye in a limestone gorge the only access to which is via forty stepping stones running in the river and under an overhang. In normal weather this is reasonable but you do need to be confident stepping from one stone to the next. If it has been raining then this route is really too tricky (for me) to try. The racemes of this plant are usually erect.
Ribes alpinum only occurs in good quantity as a native in these parts of the peak district and elsewhere it is probably an introduction. The distribution maps show that it is present in northern England and southern Scotland and in decreasing frequency as you go into southern England and west into Wales. There is only one site in Ireland.
