Ranunculus muricatus Spinyfruit Buttercup
The common name gives the clue to the outstanding feature of this otherwise ordinary buttercup. The globose spiny fruits are characteristic along with the somewhat kidney shaped leaves. It is a common plant in the Mediterranean region.
