Primula integrifolia Entire-leaved Primrose
Primula integrifolia is a low growing plant the leaves of which have no serrations. It can be lilac pink as in the close-up photos or a deeper purple as in the habitat shot where thousands of these Primroses carpeted the stony plateau of this mountain in the Engadine region of the Swiss Alps.
It is usually found between 6,000 feet and 8,000 feet in the central Alps or Pyrenees.
