Poterium verrucosum Mediterranean Salad Burnet
This a little more robust and taller than the usual Salad Burnet (once Sanguisorba minor ssp minor now Poterium sanguisorba ssp sanguisorba) which is common on the basic soils of the British Isles. It is more often found towards at eastern end of the Mediterranean basin.
